The best card trick in the book is actually quite simple to accomplish. There are a good answer, however, because of the great twist at the end.
Card Trick Performance
Your spectator chooses a card and replaced it in the deck. The bridge is then fan them with their chosen card has been unveiled by its color change again. Your card is then placed on the table and a second tab is selected. Once again it is on the cover, only this time it is againfailed to reveal himself. In a strange twist of fate you get the card on the table and it has changed somewhat in their second choice!
Card Trick Secret
To make things simple, let's say you're a blue-backed deck. Before a card trick with the back of a different color (say red) to the underside of the bridge. Directly above the same place with the blue card back.
Let your audience choose any card. Then put on the bridge and cuttingthe bridge. Say a magic word. Fan through the cards and cut red (so it's up). The board of viewers should be directly below. Double-lift (turn over two cards as one - just practical, it is not so difficult) and show that the chosen card back, the color changed. Replace the two cards to the top of the bridge and deal with the red card on the table.
Force the public to pick the bottom card. This can be done easily with a Hindu Shuffle (the bouquet in one handand lift the top deck of cards with others, in fact, leaving the tab at the bottom intact). Ask the spectator to tell you when to stop. If they do, just present the card back and tell them that is their second choice. Cut the deck and run through it. A red card will not act surprised. So to say, as a red card on the table, is, and turn around to see the grand finale of transformation, as the red-backed card is now your map!
