Make sure, also, that the tricks will have the potential to attract the attention of a large crowd and at the same time can be seen even by those who are quite far. One particular trick and popular too, is using cards, coins, levitation, and the ring. Although you should not focus on these alone, because once you have the proper techniques and preparation, you will be all set to becoming a certified street magician.
Tip #2: Get the audience involved.
If you don't follow this tip, you are sure to get zero response from your audience. Doing street magic is not about the trick--it's about the experience for the crowd. I have seen plenty of guys who were mediocre at magic still kill an audience with just their personality.
To develop this skill, first perform tricks to family and friends when they are least expecting it. This way, your confidence will be built right away. This will also be a good chance for you to get feedback from them so that you will be able to avoid mistakes when in front of other people.
Also, it's better if you practice the same trick repeatedly but in front of different people. This is so you will master it. A good magician can do tricks, but the magician who gets the girls will be the one with the hilarious dialogue. That takes practice. Always listen carefully to the funny things your audience says while you perform a trick.
