This trick amazes audiences by having a band mysteriously shift from your little finger and ring finger to the first and middle fingers of the same hand, and then back again. For this trick, you will require a normal rubber band or you may even use a hair band.
First, you should hold up your hand then wrap the rubber band around your ring finger and little finger. With the back of your hand facing your spectators, ensure that you push the band down to the base of your fingers. Next, use your other hand to stretch the rubber, while folding your index finger, pinky finger, ring finger and middle fingers into the loop that is created. Fold these fingers firmly against the palm of your hand to ensure that they are secured in the loop.
As quick as you can, open your palm by first removing the ring finger and little finger such that the band is forced to leap onto the other remaining fingers. In order to become good at this trick and dazzle your audience, remember to put in a bit of practice.
The double jumping band trick is a variation of the previous trick which requires that you have 2 differently colored rubber bands. To begin, you need to hold your palm up, with its back facing your spectators.
Wrap one band around your first and middle fingers, and the other one around your ring and pinky fingers, and then push them to the base of your fingers. Use your free finger to stretch the first band towards the two fingers with the second rubber band.
Next, stretch the second rubber band through the loop and put all your fingers into the loop as well. The showstopper for this magic trick comes when you open your hands quickly and dazzle your spectators by having the rubber bands change positions.
