All just to insure that their darling little ones will be among the lucky few to be seated high atop Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom. Victoria and Albert's- Here is one place that vegetarians won't feel short changed. A seven-course vegetarian menu, expertly overseen by the illustrious Chef de Cuisine Scott Hunnell, is offered nightly. It can't get much better than that.

Boma - The essence of Africa is potent beneath Boma's circular, thatched roof where hearty foods prepared with an African flair (and a dash of American cuisine for the picky eater) are the fare. An entire section (or pod) of meatless dishes with such items like vegetable lentil kofta, braised greens, vegetable skewers, and several kinds of exotic salads are par for the course.

Best Character Dining

Crystal Palace - Winnie the Pooh, and his friends, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger are your hosts in a sunlight-drenched, conservatory-style restaurant found at the castle end of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. Here you'll find a surprisingly good and bountiful buffet, definitely one of the better spreads in the park.

Todd English's Bluezoo - There's plenty of buzz surrounding this dreamy outpost at the Walt Disney World Dolphin where it's worth the cost of dinner just to check out the stunning, underwater-like fantasyland dining room adorned with air bubble light fixtures, shimmery silver-blue organza curtains, and carpeting mimicking an expanding drop of water. But if dinner isn't in your plans, the lounge here is just as cool where martinis and a raw bar are on order.

Raglan Road - It's easy to imagine you're in the heart of Dublin at Raglan Road, Downtown Disney's newest restaurant and pub. Come in for a drink, a snack, or for a meal... whatever, just don't miss this fantastic spot. Irish musicians provide authentic entertainment accompanied by delicious, contemporary Irish cuisine.

1st Haircut at Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort

Many guests do not realize that Magic Kingdom Park has a working barber shop right at Main Street USA. They do! I took my 2 year old daughter to Magic Kingdom this past week to get her 1st haircut. It is exciting to get a 1st haircut at Disney, but there are so many Magical Moments that come with this one experience. As my daughter was getting her haircut, the singing group "Daper Dans" came in to sing a few tunes. After they sang, they stopped to pose with my daughter for some pictures.

Once the haircut was finished, the barber put her hair in a Princess bun and glittered her up with lots of fun Mickey Mouse shaped glitter. This was another photo opportunity! To add to the Magical Moments, she got a Minnie Mouse ears that was embroidered with First Haircut on the back and even got a certificate that was signed and dated by the barber for her 1st haircut.

Getting her haircut in Magic Kingdom was very exciting, but all of the extra bonuses made the experience even more magical. This barber shop does not take reservations, so get there early. By noon, there is usually a line around the corner. There are only two chairs, so it can take awhile. Plan on getting there early. Besides 1st haircuts, anyone can get a haircut or just a style. The cost is very reasonable for haircuts, $18 per adult and $14 per child. Be sure to bring cash. This shop only takes cash. They do take the Key to the World, but you are unable to add a tip to the Key to the World. So, still plan on bringing some extra cash for tip.

A Brief Idea About Disney Pleasure Island and Magic Kingdom Tickets

It will be wrong if one thinks that there is no real place for adults to enjoy in Disney Land. Even if the theme parks and other amusement parks are constructed more for the children's than for adults.
